I left my old job of 7 months a month ago to accept a new job that I thought was align with my skills. However it was NOT!! There was alot I learned I would be doing once I took the job
My previous job was less money, however, I could apply for other jobs in another dept for more money after being there for a while. I am thinking of calling or emailing my former manager and asking her for my job back
What you think? I dont know exactly how to word it to her

My older job I felt 100% confrontable with the duties, less stress no weekends or night work

Well, you could always just call or email and see how things are going .. then tell him/her your not happy and wish you had not left .. see what the reaction is like and you will know if you should ask or not ...

Good Luck!

You have to admit to her you made a mistake and ask if your old position is still open. You are not the first person to ever quit a job you are happy with for more money, then realized it was a mistake. Your old boss may even have done it herself. The problem may be that after a month, your old job may have been filled already.

This is why you always leave on good terms and dont burn any bridges. If you didn't then there shouldn't be any problems unless there really aren't any openings. Just explain the situation to your former employer. Good luck.

There is no harm trying. Let her know that you'll have better future working for her company then the present. However, don't except similar treatment even if you get the job because its you who came a begging.

If you left on good terms just reapply, and if you are still on good terms with your old boss email or call him or her and tell them you want to come back. I wouldn't volunteer any other information unless asked!

It doesn't hurt to email your old boss. If you were a good employee, and there's an opening, they might consider you.

It might be better to call rather than email.

most places won't hire someone that quit. If they need you or if they think you can do a good job, they might take you back,, but if it was me,, I wouldn't want you back cuz I'd figure you wasn't happy working for me and that you'd be leaving again.
