i have wireless access at a remote location (no phone service) and need a phone. i have vonage service and would like to take the vonage adapter to the remote location,plug a phone into adapter but can only access the broadband wirelessly...no ethernet cable access to broadband

get a mic for your laptop and use skype or some voip or something (even Y! messenger which you have a screen name for since you are on this site has a talking feature and you can [i believe] call people with it). it'd be easier than trying to rig your phone into an internet connection.

NOT a wireless router, total disaster. You need a wireless access point which connects to your wireless router, set the mac address of the router to the access point and connect the Vonage adaptor to it. I hope you are not using someone else's wireless connection without permission, as this can land you in serious trouble.

Unusual requirement, never tried this before (dont think I ever get the chance to), but use a wireless router to act as a Repeater, then try plug the RJ45 into one of the LAN socket.
