Because it represents anarchy and communism. Both of which are viewed as bad by many.

Anarchy, obviously because anyone can edit pretty much anything. Communism because it's free. Check out the article below.

I'm an editor for Wikipedia, and I watch a few articles to make sure nothing fictional is added. If I don't believe something I find a source, and reference it on the article. Articles without proper sources I don't trust, and try to validate and source them myself. Also for the content I research (musicians/music, urban theory, and local history) it's pretty hard to make a convincing lie.

Because it is an easy source of information. My teacher also says wikipedia is unreliable because anyone who visits an article can change it to their preference, which is true because I have seen many people complain about this. this means that wikipedia can misinform you.

Because anybody can go on there and type anything. It's not a credible source.

i guess some do but many old people don't even use computers. But don't we all have our hates for random things that no one else will understand.
