My mother is a codependent alcoholic and my father commited suicide when I was very young! I am ten times a better parent then either one of them, they had no buisness having kids it's amazing I am alive and have turned out to be the person I am today, but it explains why I am a teacher.

They were put here just for me.
My son was raised by wolves for a few years and he is not better off for it, but blames his 'real' parents instead of his
(hmm, God rest their souls) kidnapping Grandparents.
He thinks they were the best parents anyone could ever have.
Ahh, the value of spoiled bliss. I can relate.

I'm thinking the same thing you are. My parents were people who never should have had children, ever. What can I say? Some people really aren't cut out to be parents. I have tried to raise my kids completely differently.

Good question!

I'm going to have to side with you. Wolves are friendly and playful and take really good care of their young. That wouldve been nice.

Now that my parents are literally a bajillion years old they just seem like slightly pathetic, regretful raisenish people who are praying like crazy that their kids are not into pay backs.

Lucky for them - I'm not
My sister on the other hand....

I was raised by my mom, and looking back, she made a lot of mistakes, but in the end, I grew up a good person, and that's what matters. She did all she could, and I'm who I am because of her. My dad, on the other hand, is a ghost to me. He's a random sighting I saw every once in a while when he felt like making his presence.

My parents are probably the most wonderful people in the world. Yes I mean I used to always have so many challenges with them, but they have always come through for me. I really honor them alot. I would give my life for them.

Hmmm, my parents earn less than 18K a year and do not receive any type of benefits. I an trying to pay for my college education- 80K! My parents refuse to help me with any college expenses. My father is clinically insane; he is a ticking time bomb. My mom is a dish washer at our school. i must see her every day at this embarassing job. I live in the ugliest house in our neighborhood. My father , well father figure, has 12 cars in our front yard. Well, I think this answers your first question. Please wire the money to me. Thanks!

When I was younger, I thought my mother didn't love me, that she was cold to me, etc, that she preferred my brother to me (still think that actually). However, now I am a parent and have grown up, I've made my peace with it and realised she is the way she is cos of how she was bought up.
