Ok I've on the pill for 6 mths and yesterday i did have sex but I showered right after and then forgot my pill and this morning i read the instuctions on it and it said to take it as soon as i remember then the second at regular time but if I planned to have sex no back up methad is required but it also said the more pills you miss you could get pregnant. Ive only missed one pill in the 6 months span ive been on this type of birth control What are my chances of being pregnant? Hopefully very slim to none ...help

Yeah..this has happened to me many times and I've never been pregnant. Chances are very slim, just take the pill you missed and get yourself back on track. Btw...one way you can get pregnant very easily while on the pill is if you are taking an antibiotic, so if you are ever on an antibiotic use a back up method of bc. I'm sure you'll be fine, don't worry

Yes take the pill like the directions tell you if you normaly take it a 5pm but forgot, and then remembered at 9am the next morning, take it then as soos as possible, and then at 5pm the same day take the pill when you normaly would. Just skipping it once will not make you ovulate, you have to miss it for at lease 2-4 times in a row. Im sure that you have talked to your OB about the diffrent types of birthcontrol. I loved the shot! it was great never any problems and never had to worry about when I was going to take it!

There's ALWAYS that chance, even the pill isn't 100% effective, nothing is, except abstinence. I'd say your chance is slim, but not none. Showering does not do a darn thing to prevent pregnancy!!! Not to alarm you, but yes, even 1 pill missed raises the chance of becoming pregnant. I got pregnant while on the pill, 3 times!!! Good luck to you.

My doctor told me it's when you miss 2 or more pills that have a chance of ovulating. I'm sure you will be fine.
