Try curb walking to help bring on labor.
It may sounds funny, but some really believe it helps. Walk along a curb, one leg up on the curb and one in the gutter, then turn around and go the other way.
This is another really fun way to try and start labor.
Go to a local park or playground and swing on those nice big swings. It may or may not work, but, it is good fun!
This is one that every pregnant woman can do.
A version of Murphy's Law - if you are not prepared it will happen.
* Unpack your hospital bag.
* Do not shave.
* Let your partner go off with his friends, far away.
* Go walk the mall because surely your water will break in a public place.
Keep in mind that it won't be much longer now.
Your baby will be born when it is ready.
Take this time to rest and prepare.
Good Luck

My son was two weeks late. We tried the nipple stimulation but it did not work for us. However I have heard it works for some people. We actually tried raspberry tea. This works in two ways it can help bring on labor and when you do go into labor it makes contractions more effective. This was my firt pregnancy and it was over in seven hours.This made my labor fast and my son came out in one contraction!!!!! You can buy it at any good healthfood shop. Hope all goes well.

My doctor told me to do this when I was overdue but it didn't work. I tried everything too, moving furniture, sex, walking --the works. Babies just come when they're ready- or if you get induced! Good luck, baby will be here before you know it!

please, please don't do nipple stimulation. done under the right circumstances, it can help increase the intensity of your contractions, can cause your pattern to become closer together, and can help with labor, but not monitored, it can cause hyperstimulation which is essentially contractions so close together that the baby doesn't get a rest. It would be like going on pitocin for induction without being monitored at all...wouldn't be safe. You're doing everything right, and when your body is ready, labor will kick in. Keep up the good work...good luck...I'll think labor thoughts for you.....

I had the same problem with ym son he was 4 days late. Try masterbation. I think making sure that you are "climaxing" to the fullest therefore causing stronger contractions. Its worth a try, plus you'll wake up happier. :) Godo Luck!!!!

well i am not too sure but my sister told me it does help but only if you twist and something else but also note that when you do that make sure you are in the hospital reason being is they hook you up to a monitor to make sure your baby is fine and not in stress she said it may take up to 72hours but you will notice it working when you began to have contractions she also said ever one body is diffrent and it make tke a little longer if this is your first child i will say try it, it's only one way to find out but try your best not to get induced she said it is the worst thing ever and it can hurt your child as well as you

I've heard midwives suggest using a breast pump. When you nurse you have contractions, so I guess pumping does the same.
