Got caught selling FF miles?

Question

Any idea what, other than taking away your status and accumulated miles, an airline can do when their detectives call and tell you they know you sold your miles? Account is frozen.

I thought there were companies that did nothing but sell Frequent Flier miles. I don't think there is a LAW on the issue, but the terms of the FF plan probably spell out what is allowed and the results of breaking the rules.
