When going to a show/concert, can you go backstage to meet the band afterward?

What should I do?
I'm going to the hellogoodbye/boys like girls/the hush sound show and I would really like to meet at least one of them. Has anyone ever gone backstage or waited after to meet them or any band?

I guess what I meant was do these bands do meet and greets?
and they aren't too very well known. At least the hush sound anyway.

if they don't have a meet and greet thing, then your best bet is to hang out by the buses after the shows. i know nothing about these bands, so can't say more than that

If the band is a fairly well-known band, no, you won't be allowed backstage and you probably won't have a chance to meet the band. It's too risky for bands to let anyone come backstage--and the management and insurance companies don't want their precious people taking a chance with girls who get too desperate and/or jealous, psychos who want to make a name for themselves, etc. Bands (well, not always the band itself) hire heavy security to keep people who haven't been invited from getting to them--either backstage or as they leave the venue (or in the hotel rooms, etc.). Unless you are known to the band (like a regular groupie) or have dropdead looks that attract the attention of someone inside (and even then there's a good chance you'll have to provide sexual favors to "buy" your way in), you don't have much chance anymore (there was a time though...).

Sorry, but you don't just go backstage. You either need a pass, of course unless they're doing a meet & greet. Unless you have a backstage pass, you better have a hell of a rack because that's the only way you're getting in. It's security who has been told to do so. Don't expect to see a guy outside of the band to be backstage...understand? If you don't, you're too young, and don't expect to go backstage. There's things back there that you won't understand and won't want to!

unless u are a member of the press, personal friend/family member, or a contest winner of some sort, don`t count on it!!! there are ways to get backstage, by using, shall we say, your feminine charms...but it depends on what u actually want and/or what u are willing to do!!!
