They look fansatsic, but to maintain them takes time & money. You need to fill them every two weeks & it costs about $20-$30. After you get them off, your real nails are trashed & it take s long time before they get healty again.

They look great for about two weeks are so, as it depends on what type of activity you do, as the more hand use the more often they need repair. They tend to be somewhat bad for you cuticles, so make sure you maintain them so you want get any fungus or bacteria. Some women only get them done every three or four weeks, and these are the women that don't do housework or much of anything with there hands. The prettiest nails are always the natural ones as anything that is natural is better than unnatural. Try eating jello as it will make your own nails grow better and be stronger. Manicured nails can become an expensive commitment so make sure you can budget for them or learn to do them yourself.

Acrylic nails are cool. Gotta keep them clean, though or you'll get a funky fungus. The good thing is, your nails grow really long under them and when you're ready to take off the fakes, sometimes the salon'll soak them off and then you're real nails can be just as long as the fakes! They'll be really weak, but a lot of times-you'll be able to save your new long nails!

Trust me, it's not worth it. I'm 18 and I've had acrylic nails from 8th to 10th grade. Then I wore my natural nails with acrylic over it from 9th to 11th grade. It really damages your nails. It took my nails a couple of moths to get it back to it's original "health." You should try some Sally Henson products to help your nails grow. It helps. I guess it depends on how long you have them on your nails.

You need to get them filled every two weeks, without fail or you will get a fungus. They ruin your nails when they come off and you have to regrow your nails and start from scratch. But they're pretty if you keep them up. What you're describing sounds really pretty.

Yes, they are cute but you have to get them filled often and it costs $5-$10 every time you do.
if you decide to you should get the french manicured ones like you said.

NO! They look great but they're unhealthy for your fingers. The chemicals aren't good and they remove your cuticles instead of pushing them back. Cuticles are important to keep bacteria out of your finger nail opening. Just keep them short and paint them.
