Im not 12, im 17 going on 18 in 6 months!

I think that is absolutely disgusting. I would be horrified if i had a 12year old child who was sexually active - be it male or female. At that age, they don't have the maturity needed to have sexual relationships - or put up with the outcomes, be it pregnancy, STD's and the emotional issues that can arise.

I think it is sad!!! I feel that children and adolescents are being sheltered from very important sex education, and then being bombarded with "media sexuality", immoral, degrading, illicit sex that promotes promiscuity!
***The people say only prude Bible thumpers teach abstinence.
***That losing your virginity is “no Big deal”, and that how will you know if you are compatible enough to be married if you have never had sex together!
***That STD’s can’t happen to me!
***We can’t teach our kids about birth control at age 12 because then they might consider having sex!
How about we tell kids this:
Any time sperm comes in contact with the vagina there is a chance of pregnancy, regardless of birth control, penetration or menstruation!!!
YES, you can get pregnant while using any form of birth control, or any combination, but birth control significantly lowers your chances, especially when using more that 1 type. (Example: the pill & condoms)
YES, you can get pregnant if you have unprotected sex or protected sex while on your period. Though it does lower the possibility while menstruating and even more so with birth control.
YES, you can get pregnant WITHOUT penetration. Semen need only come in contact with the vagina or even sometimes near the vagina!
YES, pre-ejaculate (pre-***) contains semen! You can get pregnant even if the male does not ejaculate inside you!
THE ONLY 100% WAY TO PREVENT PREGANCY IS ABSTINANCE!
And have them actually witness a live birth! That is how it used to be most babies were born at home safely, with their siblings there to watch and welcome the newest member of their family.
Since when did watching actual birth become traumatic to children, but on TV they can show things that I wont even do!!!
How about we introduce the children to people afflicted with Gonorrhea, Syphilis, Warts, Herpes and AIDS! Let them meet and befriend someone suffering so that they can feel empathy, compassion and their own conscience speaking to them.
No one has ever said marry the person you have the best sex with…that is just stupid!!! Sex is something you are not doomed to be bad at!!! You can get better at it, especially when you are in a loving, trusting, and committed relationship like marriage! Then there is no worry of unwanted pregnancy or STD’s!!! DUH!
I had many friends get pregnant at very young ages, ranging from 14-18. They have never said they don't love their children...or that they regret having children they only wish they had waited!!!!

It's messed up. But I have even more of a problem with the idea that there's guys out there who want to have sex with 12 year old girls.

I think it's very unfortunate. Twelve year olds are children and should be experiencing childhood, not having sex and raising babies.
