We got into a fight, he didnt hurt me at all but i got scared and i called de the police...anyway he was in jail and now we have a no contact order between us..the day he got released i went to the court and explained the situation that it was a misunderstanding and that he is a good father and husband. I was wondering what could happen on the pre trial? What I said that day made a difference at all?

No..you can't be punished unless you flat out lied. But generally in these situation it must make it to full trial before a judge would even be allowed to consider dropping charges...my advice is for him to just stay away until this is resolved...the last thing you need is for him to be found with you in contempt of the order...even if you feel it is erroneous he can be charged and convicted of violating it and jailed.

usually at pre trail he will plead and that is it...it will be during the full trial that you will testify and you can just tell the judge you don't need the order and hope she drops charges.

Here's my thought - you called the police because you were scared...no matter what happens in an argument I am never afraid of my husband. I think you have serious issues you need to deal with it.

THAT DEPENDS ON THE JUDGE AND THE STATE,S ATTORNEY. DOES HE HAVE A PRIOR RECORD
OR ANY OTHER INVOLMENT WITH THE LAW??
WHAT YOU SAID MIGHT HELP SOME, BUT INT HE END
ITS UP TO THE JUDGE.

What you said makes little difference, and quite frankly YOU can be punished legally for calling the cops.
