you are probably in chemistry so you know about the three states of matter-- liquid, solid, and a gas ( vapor). When water boils it changes from a liquid to a gas
( steam/vaporization). a physical change is when the appearance changes while the makeup stays the same. by the way i love you too. lol.

Because you are not changing the composition of the water molecules in any way. They are still H2O. All you are changing is their kinetic energy (temperature) until they actually boil and turn to water vapor, and then you are just changing their state from liquid to gas. The molecules stay the same - just H2O.

Because it is a change but is not a chemical change. The substance is still water.
