Glad to see someone recognizes the work we do.

Edit:

I really don't get why some people assume the stay-at-home moms are "LAZY" just because they aren't in the work force. I started out as a working mom, and I do far more now than I ever did then. Plus what some fail to realize is, the work for stay-at-home mom's is non-stop. You don't clock out at 5pm.

For those that think that stay at home moms are "WHINING" about being at home. I say NOT SO. If anything we get frustrated with those who ASSUME we don't work or that we are UNHAPPY with our lives because we don't have society patting us on the back.

Well good for them! (I am not a stay at home mom, I'm not even a mom!)

A mom works much more then an employee. They work Mondays to Fridays 9-5 whereas a mother works from childbirth to eternity 24/7. They should get paid!

=)

If your a stay at home mommy, money has nothing to do with it. If a stay at home mom needs to know what her monetary value is, then she's somehow forgotten what she's doing it for, or, the spouse or family members are treating her rotten. Momming for money? It's about raising those kids how you feel right about raising them. That's priceless.

Now, do me a favor! Add this up, then deduct it from the $138.000 a year.

Free bees = room & board, health care, clothing, car, & gasoline, vacations, security, spending money, free utilities,i.e. gas, electric, water, house of your own, laundry equipment, a father for your children including all of the freebees you get, the list goes on, when you think about it.

Now, add up what that same level of living would cost you if you lived alone!

THAT'S why, when you get a divorce, you DEMAND that you continue to get those things-----the house, and all of it's contents, the cars, the money, the child support----

You women are raised to believe that when you form a relationship with a man, you are entitled to all he posesses.

If you were raised in a "Stay at home" household, your father provided the money, and your mother used it to support herself and you! Consequently, you have no idea of the value of money,( unless you hold a job and learn it)

I have to laugh. My ex wifes neice came from a home like that and she married a soldier that was stationed in Purto Rico. About two weeks later, she calls her mom complaining about how much her toiletries costs and said to her," Mom, I had to buy toilet paper!"

Y'see, she had no concept of the cost of living because mom always made sure there was a full roll of toilet paper in the bathroom.

I respect stay-at-homes because their children get to receive their full attention and care.

My mom was a working mom and most of my childhood years was spend with the maid. It was only when my mom quit her job when I was in my pre-teens that I started bonding with her.
