Well, actually in this case you would have to say my girlfriend, not boyfriend, but in any case,
NO IT WOULD NOT BE CUTE!!! It would not bring more of a closeness, rather a seperation. For the best of your sake, don't say it, or your friends just might leave you. Believe me, I have seen this happen many times. One person likes the others boyfriend/girlfriend, thus making competiton, annoyment, and anger among the person.

Perhaps from where you are coming from (because you may not have any ill intentions) you would feel it would be "cute" or even a compliment - however if the person you told felt insecure they may feel threatened - or even disrespected if they felt that you were moving in on their turf.
Always remember that just because you may react or feel a certain way about something, it doesn't mean others would feel the same way about the same circumstances.

I would hate you...more...lol jk...no it would suck because i'm really insecure and if you liked him then I would be freaking out that he would like you too and that he was going to leave me for you because he thinks I suck and that you are amazing...don't laugh...it's happened before and that's the way it went.
