well i got caught stealing lot's of stuff. so it was over 400 dollars which means it's grand theft. (right?) and i had scissors with me so it's worse...

well this happened on february and about two days ago, i got a letter from probation department saying there's an appointment. what are my chances of getting on probation?

and it said i needed to bring my report cards or "additional material pertinent."
i have a 3.85 gpa and i do volunteer work. so i'm going to take my report cards. should i take anything else? would the high gpa help me get out of getting on probation?

Report cards, yes. Any resume' type letter from the people who know you from your volunteering work would also be good. If you have a church you attend, a letter from the minister and/or youth minister would also be good. Any sort of character references you can come up with will help you.
You will most likely get some probation but if that is all you get, consider yourself lucky. Hopefully you have learned a lesson and this episode in your life will not be repeated.

You will indeed have probation, and may have to serve time in jail. It depends on how your state handles juvenile offenders (or if they choose to charge you as an adult). Yes, your GPA can help you, as can recommendation letters from your school counselor, principal, teachers, etc.
