I don't know about Canada, but mailing a post card to the East Coast from the West Coast costs exactly the same as if you live on the West Coast and mail a post card to your next-door neighbor.

Only 1. And they have special stamps if you like. I think they're like 24 cents. You can also use a regular 1st class stamp.
