how can any one , with any Christian belief at all , vote for the party that supports , abortion , homosexuality , taking prayer out of schools and other institutions , and every other evil that is ruining our country ? the democrats support all of this !

Haven't you ever heard of separation of church and state? People who can't separate the two are the reason that we have the idiot president we do now. I'm Catholic, and I somehow think that homosexuality (which affects you in absolutely no way whatsoever) is less of an "evil" than going to war and killing countless innocents. Or, maybe you don't think about those "evils" because you don't have to watch them happening. Also, by the way, because you don't seem to know what it is, separation of church and state happened years ago, so if you think that electing a republican is going to bring back prayer in school, you're about as crazy as you sound.

HYPOFOCUS: Just because a group calls themselves
Christians does not mean that they are, if they accept
same sex marriage, abortion euthanasia, they are a
false religion, the fact that your link refers to the
Christian right proves that their views are not widely

the question is how can a person with the slightest belief
in Christianity ever vote for a Democrat.
No one is asking about separation of Church and State
Most liberals support abortion, like it or not it is murder, don't
bother with the crap that it can not survive outside the womb,
it would survive if it had a chance. I agree that if you have a
smidgen of belief in Christ you can not agree to abortion.
Liberals support same sex marriage, again this is against
the teaching of Christ and God destroyed Sodam and
Gomorrah because of it. I might add that God created
Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve.
Liberals believe that the world was made by the big bang
theory and that man evolved and that God created neither.
The proof that man was not evolved is really very simple.
1.) If man evolved from apes, why do we still have apes
2.) If man evolved, why haven't the liberals caught up yet.

Support all of this? Don't think so - but won't shove my opinions about those issues down other people's throats like the religious right neocons. Don't support abortion - it's a disgusting, revolting thing to do - but I won't deny someone who thinks otherwise their right to govern their own bodies. God will sort them out in the end. Homosexuality? What's to support or not to support? You carry on as if it was a choice - it's not. That's the way they were born and it's not their fault that they are aberrations of nature. Get over it. Prayer in schools? Prayer does not belong in schools per the Constitution of the United States of America, Amendment I. The evils that are ruining our country are the product of the neocons - things like the trillion dollar war in Iraq, unfettered illegal immigration, tax cuts for the wealthy, windfall Medicare profits for drug companies, the destruction of the manufacturing sector, the offshoring of good-paying jobs to 3rd world countries, the annhilation of US stature and influence overseas, failure to act on global warming, continued addiction to foreign oil, massive budget deficits, a crippling national debt, a broken medical care system and on and on and on. I don't support any of what is really wrecking the country - I leave that to people like you, you do such a good job of it.

I believe the Christianity is your own individual and personal relationship with God. And you should not look at other man for your Christian faith. You will sure to be disillusioned and maybe fall away from God. Turn your eyes upon Jesus, not Democrats. I belive the Republicans will have their 'unchristianlike' behaviour too.

Would you vote for a homosexual republican? How about one who hires hookers? Or one that takes bribes and kick-backs.
If there was only one party we would not be a democracy. It sounds like you would like to change our government or at least be willing to suppress the opinion and vote of those who oppose your view. Read Jefferson's take on the relationship of church and state. He and the other founding fathers were devout christians who warned that our government should remain secular. Many religious leaders of his day were furious with them.
