Eat before you give blood!!! because we dont want you to faint now!!!

I was freaked out the first time I donated blood. I have Oneg so I've always been told to donate every chance I get. I do, because it's not bad & I HATE needles, but I've never seen the needle.
~Don't stress about it
~Don't look at the needle
~Don't watch them insert the needle
~Don't move your arm around alot
~Make sure you have a full stomache before you donate as well as afterward.
Good luck. I promise it's not bad and it's so helpful and lifesaving. You should give every chance you get no matter what blood type you have.

Drink plenty of water in the few hours before your donation.
Once you get there, they will tell you everything you need to know. Just read all the papers they give you, answer the questions honestly, and speak up if you have any questions or concerns. You can back out at any time if you change your mind.
