I'M SERIOUS, I'M VERY TICKLISH AND FLINCHY! MY FRIENDS LOVE TO TICKLE ME LIKE CRAZY. THEY SAY IT CAN RELIEVE STRESS AND IT KIND OF DOES TAKE AWAY THE STRESS. IT FEELS LIKE TORTURE BECAUSE ONCE WHILE I WAS SITTING IN CLASS MY FRIEND NEARLY SCARED ME BY SNEAKING UP ON ME. SHE HELD ME DOWN AND HER FRIEND TOOK OFF MY SHOE AND BEGAN TICKLING ME. I WAS LAUGHING LIKE CRAZY AS I TRIED TO GET UP, BUT THAT CAUSED HER TO HOLD ME DOWN TIGHTER. THIS HAPPENED AT SCHOOL DURING MY FREE PERIOD FROM CLASSES. MY FRIENDS ALWAYS FIND ME, SIT ME DOWN AND TICKLE TORTURE ME. IT'S FUN BUT IT FEELS LIKE TORTURE AFTER A WHILE! SHE KNOWS THAT I'M VERY FREAKED OUT ABOUT THINGS SO SHE TAKES THE STRESS OUT OF ME BY TICKLING ME. WHAT CAN I DO TO AVOID THE TORTURE?

Ask her to change the tickle setting to a private setting where nobody can watch or interrupt.

When she is tickling you, try not to say "no" or "Stop". Instead, allow yourself to laugh and enjoy it. Tell her how much it tickles or how ticklish you are as she is tickling you. When she gets a good reaction from you , laugh and enjoy it.

As long as she give you air breaks and respects your limits, you can both have a great stress-relieving time.

It sounds like she is engaging in playful tickle torture to get you laughing hard but it also sounds like she knows you are having fun and she does respect you. If you feel that she is going too far, speak to her in private and come up with a safe word that you will only say when you have had enough and want her to stop.

Good luck and HAPPY TICKLES!!!!!

(I wish that I was your friend and classmate!)

It's tickle torture if your friend is all-out tickling you like crazy and is viciously continuing without giving you breaks. If it seems that they are doing it for their own sadistic pleasure and don't check in with you (usually with eye contact), it very well may be tickle torture.

I say tell your friend exactly what you told us. You could have a safeword which you make up to tell your friend when enough is enough. You will want the word to be something other than "stop" or "enough". That way you don't mistakenly put on the brakes.

Good luck.

do you know how to say STOP IT...if that don't work then just slap the face of the next one that's you don't want to touch you...... ok your friend don't mean any harm...they think you like it cause you haven't told them to stop and that you don't like it......but it's not torture....is it?
