Im trying to hook up my 360 to Xbox Live but the I.P address test fails...Its connected via wireless network with the wireless adaptor...This is really frustrating me.. I type in the I.P address from my computer..Doesnt work...Microsoft tech support didnt know how to help me so now idk what to do.. Please help if someone knows

Are you using a router? If so what make and model? Do you use WEP or WAP security? How many other network devices/computers are working? I cant help without more info.

You can set a range for DHCP to assign addresses on the router (such as 20-254) and still reserve a range to not be passed out (such as 2-19). Then, use those addresses you set aside to manually set each computer's IP.
