Peace of mind can come through knowing what you want, being clear about what's important to you, and living with integrity. This takes some work and soul searching, but I think you need to be true to yourself to find peace of mind, and that often means facing your demons and fears. Regrets usually happen for things not done, and action is the solution to most anxiety and depression. So find what you love to do, surround yourself with people who bring out your best, and make the world a better place.

Peace of mind is an illusion albeit a nice one. If you think you are going to have or do have peace of mind, you are much more likely to have it. We are what we believe and we get what we believe we will get. We do this by seeing the good in things, realizing things are the way they are meant to be and we cannot control others' behavior. It's really a matter of what we tell ourselves about any situation. I always tell my clients the story of the two men on the airplane. They are both in the same exact situation. However, one man is scared out of his mind and the other is happy and relaxed. The scared man is telling himself that planes are dangerous and that it may crash and he is living that thought. The other man is telling himself that he feels so lucky to have a great job but now it is vacation time and he is flying to a wonderful place to enjoy himself. Peace of mind is very much a result of what we tell ourselves.

I read the bible and give my problems up to God. This allows the burden to come off of my shoulder and lets me think more clearly. Contentment is a key ingredient to lasting peace. Working hard enough to have financial security but not desiring so much that I add strife to get what I really do not need. Understanding the difference between a need and a want. Keeping that in focus and protect my joy and relationships.

Having peace of mind in this world is a tough job. But it can be super easy if we all just believe and trust God. He knows your pain and waits for you to humble down and ask for peace. He'll give it to you. You don't even need to do something, just pray and wait. He'll be there cause He is always there for everyone.
And think positive thoughts. And always treasure the relationships with friends and loved ones.

By looking at people who are on a lower level from where you are, for example look at people that have less money than you, look at people that are in wheelchairs while you are blessed walking around etc..,because looking at people that have things you dont have will frustrate you and put you down.i dont mean not trying to achieve the better but at the same time to be content with the life you have. Also respect and accept your self for who you are, believe in god, give love to others it always feels great to give more than take.

An honest mans pillow is his peace of mind, that's what I live by, I try to treat people better than I would expect them to treat me and I deal with everyone equally and above all honestly.

once you unfastened your ideas you will locate peace. once you could think of with out concern you're able to have peace of ideas. once you have little question and intense self-worth you will definately locate peace of ideas.

I praise God. Often times through writing.

Oh, how I easily forget. Drowned by the depts of crushing sinfullness of the world, how quickly I forget your ways oh Lord. Blinded by flashes of selfishness, ego, and pride, I so often forget what you look like. Choking in the battle against flesh through self control, my concerns so quickly find their way away from you. Deaf through the continuous wispers of lies, how often I have ears yet never hear. What hope do I have but your intervention within this wretched life of sin? Upon you I put my hope. In you I put my trust. In your ways and through your might will I walk. Ever to the goal shall I press, though I have no strength within me. Only your strength will carry me to glory, and for your glory shall I be carried to you. Your promices are true. Your ways are mighty. Your works are glorious. You are forever and everlasting through which all things were created. What hope is there outside of you, oh great and mighty God. Your mere breath brings forth life from dust and your mere will sends man to the depths of hell, yet in your mercy and your infinate love, you came to me. You lived for man. You died for man. Though man did not know you, you still died for him. Not for man's sake but for your own sake. To show us your love, and what great love it is! That you would bear my eternal punishment upon your own son for my wicked works. How great you are Lord. How loving you are my King! How Kind! How Mighty! You who have the power to calm storms, to bring forth the dead, to heal and command creation with your mere words. To you belongs all power and glory and dominion and glory and magesty for ever and ever. Amen.
