Honestly, beyond the whole "I love you" thing, I think something along the lines of "you make me want to be a better person, you make me a better person, and I want to do all I can to make you a better person, if at all possible"
how you like them apples?

I used to be a hell raiser in school. A teacher I had not seen since high school had seen me a few times and told my mother "how proud he was of me for becoming such a wonderful devoted mother with a good head on my shoulders" I cried ...it felt wonderful to hear that!
Positive attention makes your heart want to always strive to be better :)

I would think "Well done" would be a great boost for me. Just to know that someone appreciates my efforts at work or at home! Have a good day. Buy the way, "Well done!"

i think in my opinon, if they tell you you are an amazing person. Ive never been called that personaly, but if somebody says you're amazing, its just a great feeling. Like you're something special.
