The movie begins with a bridge, and it's falling. It's about where ghosts are in cars & trucks running over people, killing people, etc. And in one part, a little boy is riding his bike and sees that all of his neighbors are dead, etc. And a guy is electricuted. If anybody knows what this movie is called, please help me out. =) Thanks.

It sounds like it could be "Maximum Overdrive". As I recall, it was a Stephen King movie starring Emilio Estevez.

I think what you are talking about is "Overdrive" with Emilio Estevez, but it isn't ghosts, the mechanical things themselves become animated because of a comet or something. Kind of like the original "Night of the Living Dead". I saw Overdrive again on TV a few months ago. I love the scene where the coke machine starts shooting out cans and killing people.

Note: The other answerers are right. I forgot the Maximum part.

Maximum Overdrive, based on the short story by Stephen King called Trucks. You can read that in the book called Night Shift.

By the way, a bridge didn't fall. It was a drawbridge that opened up with the cars still on it. Oooops.

...unmistakenly, you have describe the basic plot for 1986's campy horror schlock film, "Maximum Overdrive", based upon the Stephen King short story, "Trucks", and directed by the master macabre writer himself.

Anchor Bay Entertainment released the film on DVD awhile back; 20th Century Fox Home Video has since picked it up, for re-release.
