In my math it says to write a fraction, decimal, mixed number, or whole number equivalent of each percent that could be used to estimate. 24%, 35%, 500%, .9%, 37.2%, 12/13%, 250%, and 48.8%?

To estimate, you just select a fraction that is close to the percentage.

24% is almost 25% which is 1/4
35% is almost 33 1/3% which is 1/3
500% is five times as much; so 5.
0.9% is almost 1% which is 1/100
37.2% is almost 37.5% which is 3/8
12/13% is almost 1% which is 1/100 (Because 12/13 is almost 13/13 which is 1)
250% is 2 1/2 times as much
48.8% is almost 50% which is 1/2.

The key word is "estimate".
