If you are selling Advertising, and you do it well, you can make good money just about anywhere from a small town to a major city. If you are a good salesperson, go for commission sales to build a basis for a future career as an advertising and marketing consultant. To sell advertising, you need to be completely involved in all aspects of the process, and do your best to help your customer succeed. Be great at idea creation and followup.

This absolutely depends on what company you're working for, whether it's in house or at an agency, your experience, the client's budget and where in the country you're working - for example, you'll make way more money working in New York City than in Fresno, California.

However, speaking from experience - in house PR pays better than agency and PR pros are usually the lowest paid of the three options.

PR IS Public Relations.

There are advertising jobs and PR jobs that pay a lot, and some with low pay, so it depends on where you're working and what your job is.
