I can play fine..music is fine everything is fine but if i try to save, after saving and i turn off power and i re-start the game then the saved game option dosent show up! WEird...Thanks!

first, i'll explain what the problem actually is.

inside the game, there is a battery, about the size of a nickel - you might be able to see it in the crystal version, i forget (most current games use flash RAM)

that battery saves... your save, as well as other things, such as a running clock for the time (the gameboy color didn't have an internal clock)

well, the battery in your game is dead.

replacing it is not only difficult, but it is not cost effective. you would need to buy the correct security screw driver, remove the battery, and have someone with a torch and solder a new battery in

i wish i could do it, as i've got several games that are in this state, including my favorite snes game, illusion of gaia

...what he said...I had the same problem with one of my pokemon games except my local electronics store was able to replace mine
