OMG! I miss those days so bad. I remember when it was $0.95 per/gal I couldn't drive then but I would love for it to go back down. It used to cost me about 15-20$ to fill my tank *used to get good gas milage* I filled the other day at $2.48 and it cost me $35. It was rediculous now it's almost $3 a gallon. I think it's because of the stupid idiots that wanted minimum wage to go up. They got what they wanted, now there is inflation on everything else.

Yes, I sure do miss those days! It seems as the gas price continues to rise steadily each year.... I begin to feel more and more like my parents ranting about the "good ol' days, when we used to pay $10 to fill the tank"... now that darn little SUV I drive costs me $55 to fill up... three times weekly!

The really good days were the 59 cent days.
$5 to fill my AMC Hornet, $5 for a bag, and $5 for a carton of smokes.

I miss the days Whoppers at Burger King were $1......now they're like $3. What was that? 4 years ago too....geez, everything is overpriced.

and I remember when gas first went up to $1.50 per gallon and how we were shocked! (that was up from less than $1.00/gallon) But that was back in the mid 70's and back then it was probably the equivalent of what we pay now or more.

I even miss the gas price being $2.30/gallon. In Northern Indian it is about $3.19/gallon!

Not nearly as much as I miss the 80 cent a gallon days!
Back when you could cruise and hang out with your buddies for $5.00 and it was like "gas is sure expensive!"

I can remember when gas was 19 cents a gallon and they gave away dishes when you filled up.
