go to Staples Office Depot and buy a wireless router. the router must have wireless b/g standards in it. the instructions that come with the router are straight forward and basic. the staff will give you a short run-down on how to connect it and the instructions will tell you how to connect the lines that supply your internet.
once you have it connected and powered up you should be able to connect immediatley with your laptop.
the most important thing after you have all the wiring connected is to secure you network. that means preventing neighbors and unwanted computers connecting to your network. security warrants setting up a password that is needed to connect to your new router or you could be over-run with unwanted traffic through your router or having someone accessing your computers and stealing personal information such as passwords, banking information or private files that you have stored on your computers.
my favorite low cast wireless router is "Linksys".

You need something called a wireless router. Go to netgear.com or Best Buy or some other tech place and buy a wireless router. Then hook it up to your DSL and set up your laptop and network and stuff. You should be up and running in no time!

You need a router. Mine is Linksys, who have 24/7 technical support and they will help you set up your laptop to be wireless. Go to the website to call them, or find the number in your users manual.
