Not because of Moss...because of Brady, Moss, Stallworth, Welker, Watson, Maroney, Thomas, Samuel, Meriweather, Bruschi, everyone of the offensive like...Seymour...and so on in that fashion...New England is essentially flawless right now on paper. It will take injuries to make this team NOT a playoff contender right now....I'm just glad my Panthers aren't on their schedule...that probably wouldn't be fun to watch...

Doesn't think Moss will be that big of an impact. Pats did well for themselves in FA and were definitely a SB contending team before the Moss trade. Are they a SB 'lock' now with Moss? No, there are no absolutes in the NFL and the AFC will be VERY competitive once again with probably 8 teams with a legitimate shot at the SB going into the season.

Yes I think Patriots a superbowl material they just have to prove it, after picking up Moss for a 4th round pick lol that was like stealing Moss from them. With Tom Brady one of the best QB's in the NFL and haveing a better selection of wide recivers on the field to throw to I think he'll have no problem spreading out the defence and opening up the run.

The days of the defense wins Superbowl's are over, TEAMS win Superbowl's (both offense and defense, they are both needed for 60 Min's. And that's the reason why the New England Patriots win. TEAM

Even without Moss on the team they're still superbowl bound. He just made it a lil easier to get there. Pats look good on paper and are favored this year. And i Hope they do make it....Go Pats!
lol pats dynasty over? we're in the running every yr. Our defense was good last yr and will be better this yr.

Not a chance. Moss is a cancer. Minnesota got rid of him for this reason even though he was tremendously talented. He goes to Oakland and he's still a cancer and we see his skills diminish. Now, as he goes to the Pats, he still a cancer with further diminished skills making him close to an average receiver with a superstar ego.

The Pats were super bowl bound before Randy Moss and if he can keep his head on straight and play like his early years with the Vikings he can be another weapon for Tom Brady to exploit. I think the Pats are going to be on top of football again this year, as hard as that is being a Colts fan. I want to Colts to win but with Randy and the other aquisitions the Pats made this year they are going to be tough to beat.

Umm no He is a whiner and he get mad when Tom starts to spread the ball. With an aging defense and adding Thomas only made them better but still, they will end up losing to the Chargers or my Colts!

Well on paper they are very strong and deep and well coached. The season has to be played of course. Should be fun to watch either way.
