You sure ask alot of questions about black people. I think youre a troll. You feed off attention in theses forms. Most likely youre one of those ppl that dont have a friend in the world. Youve never had a gf. No woman will give you the time of day. You liked a black girl once and she told you to get lost. Your own mother hates you. So now you come on yahoo and you spend most of your day making racist posts about black people. You dont have a life. And youre still a virgin. Poor guy i feel really sorry for you.

If in this day and age you still refuse to understand that you are not better than a person living close to nature then I have nothing else to say to you. And then you claim to be very witty people with high IQ's and you can't even figure that out. On what grounds do you give yourself the right to judge others and to try to market your view as the only right one. See you will have to do better than that in this day and age. Africa is a very large continent, much much larger than Europe. Yet even in Europe one finds people like the deer-rearing Sami who stuck to their old life styles and are living side by side with other cultures that have, for a long time in history considered themselves to be superior because they built houses strong enough to withstand the winter cold. It's very sad indeed and I will not say more.

Great post Pegasus, so I just want to add:

Did do you know that we ALL came from Africa? It is an hypothesis with which I strongly agree:

Homo erectus, or the Upright Man arose in Africa about 1.5 to 1.8 million years ago. Homo erectus had a larger brain than Homo habilis, and its anatomy was more similar to modern humans. But the most interesting thing about Homo erectus was its incredible success- it was the first human species to engage in actual hunting, and this had the effect of expanding its territory. Because its diet became more reliant on animals than plants, Homo erectus began to migrate- and thus spread out of Africa, and colonized southeast Asia, even going up farther north into Eurasia. There is also evidence that Homo erectus was able to control fire. There is some controversy about whether Homo erectus evolved into a separate species once it migrated out of Africa and into Asia, but even if this happened, the two species are so similar to make it almost impossible to tell today.

Richard Dawkins has come out in support of an “Out of Africa again and again” hypothesis, which suggests that Homo sapiens migrated out of and back into Africa several times before finally spreading out over all the continents. This hypothesis is backed up by genetic evidence tracing the genetic similarity of various genes among different human populations, and it looks the most promising.

This theory makes racism collapse.

Not all ancient Egyptians were black but many were. Akhenaten was almost certainly black and he was one of the greatest of the Pharoahs, but by the time of Cleopatra and Ptolemaic Egypt a lot of Egyptians were Greek or Greek interbred. It was a very cosmopolitan place, especially during the Golden Age of Alexandria when it was the focus of world culture.

And to add to one of the posters above, the ancient Egyptians were NOT Arabs. The Arabs only came to Egypt in numbers during the Muslim conquests well into the 7th and 8th Centuries.

Having said that, the truth is that tHere are many different facets to African culture and vast amounts of black Africans don't live in 'mud-huts'. The Ethiopian culture was a highly developed one, as were the Northern African Moors who built extraordinary architecture and dominated large amounts of Spain and Portugal. These were great civilisations.

At the same time peoples such as the Yoruba of Nigeria have always had an extraordinary culture of art, music and spirituality. In fact most African cultures which have not been completely deracinated or suffered cultural genocide (eg the Ovimbundu people of Namibia and countless others) still do.

Speaking with 'clicks of the tongue' is a language like anything else. You are perhaps speaking about the Xhosa people of South Africa. These are a very noble and proud people and most white people in the world cannot begin to make the 'clicks' that you speak of and so are unable to communicate with them. But like most Africans their language is as sophisticated as anyone elses.

THe history of Africa is a very complicated one. Its a vast continent. You are talking more about sub-Saharan Africa than Africa as a whole. Northern Africa is essentially mediterranean and so had always had connections with Roman, Greek, Carthaginian, Byzantine and Muslim civilisations etc as well as contributing to them. Areas like the Nile Delta, because of their fertility, provided ideal circumstances for a developed civilisation to evolve. But Egypt didn't stretch very far and the majority of sub-Saharan Africa is not as fertile and so produced nomadic populations.

Nonetheless African culture was often not nearly as primitive as has been made out. All African peoples had rich cosmologies and records show that variations in cultures were extraordinarily diverse. A lot of the 'primitive' elements of African culture are thanks to our destruction of African communities and, during colonialism, a conscious desire not to educate or train Africans in technology or administration. Compare, for instance, how the Indians were drawn into the infrastucture of the Raj - they served in the Army, the legal system and the civil service. The colonialised Indian population were brought on board the colonial machine in a way in which the Africans weren't. That is why, when the colonial regimes left, the countries struggled so much. Its like the driver of a car refusing to teach someone how to drive then getting out of the car and saying 'There you go. Down the motorway. Good luck. Make your own way'.

So there are a million reasons why there are problems in Africa. Its also a very poor place, remember, with most of the resources in the hands of international companies. But even so Africa has produced a number of great writers, playwrights and poets, several of whom have won the Nobel Prize. The stereotype of spear-wielding savages is long gone.

PS THe poster who uses the word '*******'. Does anyone really use that word anymore? I mean outside the KKK?

Because not all black Africans were Egyptian. Why, if Mexican native Americans were living in pueblos did the Lakota live in tents? Why, if the Chinese have one of the biggest economies in the world are there still people in Mongolia who live in Yurts? Because they don't have anything to do with each other.

Even if they DID - the Romans had concrete, running water and sewage pipes, yet by the 7th century most European cultures had only a few thousand people who could READ, let alone construct such mighty things.

And people talking in clicks are only primitive if you look at a technological point of view. You try surviving in the African bush, you wouldn't last 2 weeks - and the thing which matters most of all, almost all of them are HAPPY. They don't give a damn that they don't have TV or even electricity. They know such things exist, but they don't want them.

What's so hard to believe that ancient Egyptians were black?
Everyone knows they were black just look at them...they were very dark skinned, kinky braids , broad lips, high cheek bones, some had broad noses, I mean what's the deal why are you so worried about it anyway?
It offends you because they were Black?....The poorer class ancient Egyptians lived in clay hutts too...so what's your point dummy? It looks to me like you need to pick an ancient African history book.....!!

WHY IS EGYPT A THIRD WORLD COUNTRY TODAY IF WHITE ARE SO SMART?

Can you tell me why the Native Americans people were naked when the first Europeans arrive to the new world? See Europeans killed most of the Native Indian people in American and force them to be more European like. It's a cultural thing not a race thing. The Europeans were traveling to Asia and Africa and learning new Ideals from other races of people. Nobody killed off the African people so they were allow to continued to live in that life style. The reason is that some blacks nations still practiced this, is because of isolation from the rest of the world just like the Native American people were.
I see nothing wrong with their culture is just different from ours.
