black nail polish. just for goths?

I think it's a big stereotype, so beware if you're going to wear it. I think it's fine. Wear whatever color you want, just know what most people will think, and don't care.

Many girls are wearing it now because of a recent celebrity craze. I'm a guy and wear it sometimes, I'm kind of attracted to the gothic look and mix my everyday wear with one or two items of clothing that seem a bit gothic, but I'm not really a goth. So far no one who's noticed my nails have said anything negative. It's interesting to see the look on a shop assistant's face though, it's mainly women who react. Some see it and smile. Others go a bit quiet and can't help but stare for a while. I was out shopping for blue nail polish and asked an assistant, she was very polite and helpful and didn't react in any negative way.

No... look in any magazine and you'll see most of the models/celebs wearing the dark nail trend. No offense, but have you been living under a rock? :P Not saying you should follow trends but if you like the look, now is the time to do it. I don't love it myself so I paint my nails the color I want. If you try this remember to use a good base coat so your nails don't get stained.

Black nail Polish is still pretty poular but now ITs leaning more to hot pink or blood red. Check out MACs great colors, they are only $9 and it stays on great w/out chipping.

Yeah definately just for goths! The world is full of stunning, luscious colours, wear them all! I always believe that makeup and nail colours should enhance your natural skin tones and colouring without drawing attention away from your eyes... the eyes have it!

Black nail polish really isnt in style any more! i think to pull off black nail polish u need to have DARK skin? otherwise just stick to lighter colors if u have light skin tone

I use black on my toenails (match every pair of sandles I have, lol). It is not just for goths (because people don't deserve to be labeled

Definitely not! I know people who wear it all the time. But try not to add and design to it because it looks bad with it. Also its coming in style more and more everyday. I think its cute and fashionable.

It was in for awhile again for everyone. It is a good fall and winter color. I would try some spring or bright shades this time of year though.
