Well "Blue Suede Shoes" was about being able to afford the $$ to have "Blue Suede Shoes".... as Elvis came from a poor dirt farmer's family.
AND "Jail House Rock" was about the anger he felt inside, because he was not accepted at first,,,,and of his hot headed temper, which got him into a lot of trouble, and he was a bitter individual later on in life, as he couldn't go out in public. He led the life of a sheltered hermit. And it angered him greatly.
AND the religious album he did was to honor his mom. After she died he crawled more and more into his already existing shell.
The HE did a Christmas Album, to honor his daughter and Priscella.....and his dad, and other faimilies which he became very fond of over the course of his life.
When he did the movie "Blue Hawaii", he recorded an album with Hawaiian music on it....and his movies got a lot of attention both from the media as well as the public. And when that happened he had to live a life of seclusion
My point being most of his songs were about his life, and how he viewed the public, family, media, anger, and a whole host of other things. There is only one other entertainer who comes close to Elvis,,,,, and that is "Jerry Lee Lewis"..... Cept' that Elvis didn't marry his cousin. :) :) :)

wow! that is a difficult question.
elvis songs were about lots of things.
depending on what year he sung them too.
well, most of them had to do with love, women, relationships, etc.
it really varies, since he also did movies.
he also sung gospel music and as well as children music.
