1. I really don't care for most of the popular music of the last two years.

2. Here are some of my favorite"romantic" type songs from the 70's - 80's. If I listed all my favorite songs, I'd be on here all night!

"At Last" Etta James, "Cherish" Kool & The Gang, "Dedicated To The One I Love" Shirelles "Don't Say Goodnight" Valentines, "Endless Love" Diana Ross & Lionel Riichie, "For Your Love" Ed Townsend, "(I Love You ) For Sentimental Reasons" Sam Cooke, "I Only Have Eyes For You" Flamingos, "I Say A Little Prayer" both Aretha Franklin and Dionne Warwick, "I'll Try Something New" Smokey Robinson, "I'm So Proud" Impressions, "Just To Be Close To You: Commodores "Kiss From Your Lips" Flamingos, "Let It Be Me" Betty Everett & Jerry Butler, "Let's Stay Together" AL Green, "Love Land " Charles Wright & The Warrs 103rd Street Rhythm Band, "More Love" Smokey Robinson & The Miracles, "Oh, What A Night" Dells, "Pledging My Love" Johnny Ace "Shake You Down" Gregory Abbott, "Stay In My Corner" Dells, "This I Swear" Skyliners. "This Magic Moment" Drifters, "To Be Loved" Jackie Wilson, "True Love Ways" Buddy Holly, "Unchained Melody" Righteous Brothers, "We Belong Together" Robert & Johnny "You Send Me " Sam Cooke "Your Precious Love" Marvin Gaye & Tammi Terrell.

Very powerful .love songs that have stood the test of time IMHO even if they're not comtemporary..

My favorite song as of now would be "Through the Fire and Flames" by Dragonforce. My favorite "oldie" would be "Paradise by the Dashboard Light" by Meatloaf. No other song describes what a man is willing to say to sleep with a girl like that one. lol
