i did something like that.. it helped me have clearer skin but it also helped me to be healthier & eat better.. you'll be really happy after you see how amazing your skin can look just from trading in fries for fruit. you can also try using skin cleanser like neutrogena oil-free acne wash (it works really good)
*hope this helps*:]]

I have no idea what diet you are speaking of. But the bad news is that acne is caused by your hormones (bless their little hearts). and not what you eat. The best thing you can do for your skin and your general health is to drink plently of water, eat lots of fresh fruit and vegies and lay off the fatty, sugary foods. If your acne is bad enough to be effecting your lifestyle, go see your family doctor and he/she will advise you off medications that can help you. And remember, its your personality and vibrant energy people love about you, not your skin.

I actually did do a acne diet. You just have to stay away frum greasy food like butter, pennut butter, cheese, hot dogs, and stuff like dat. U can eat hot dog but it has 2 b boiled. When your hungry eat sum fruits like apples n bananas. Ya it iz pretty hard, but a tip is to keep close some snacks (not chips n chocolate bars) For example: Gronola bars, Special k bars. Ya youll get use to it in get excellent results.

Is that the equivalent of a grapefruit diet where you eat only grapefruit?

Yes, mostly fish and little chicken. Veggies and fruit and fresh fruit juices. You have to do it for a while. And still, may need to go to the dermatologist.
