People say that one should work smart and not only hard. In my case i think i am hard worker but i do not work smart enough. I put too much pressure on myself and do things which other people think is not required. For example, if i do a presentation i will make 6 slides with lots of information. On the other hand my fellow student will make 1 slide with little information but we both get the same grade. It is because my presentation is long therefore i make more mistakes. I hope you understand what i mean.

I do understand, and it's quite unfair if you try so hard and get less than what you should be earned. Make sure your work is relevant though, and that it focuses on the topic you were working on. You should take your time obtaining the information you're learning, so that when you do work on it, you know what you're doing. You don't have to be more of a genius than you should be as a hardworker who's dedicated. You get points for that.

Concentrate more on quality, not quantity. Your problem is that you overdo it, to the point where the work you DO accomplish isn't as good as it would be if you were to spend the same amount of time working hard to produce something shorter, but of much better quality. You are overstressing yourself. Relax a little. Life and your career might go better for you. Good luck :)

Read books and half-*ss your homework. You need to learn to cut corners and reach for the "bare-minimums". You'll be a whole lot happier, and probably get more tail in the end. Don't get me wrong. Keep studying and what not, just don't do your calculus homework. Why? Because drinking is more fun. F*ck calculus.
