I don't know what kind of 49cc bike you have, but try removing the restrictions first before spending the big bucks for a more powerful moped.

Now, if you must have more cc's, then check out VT Cycles. They may have the parts you are seeking.

You could take it to a mechanic to get the cylindersbored out, theoretically.

But it would be more expensive than it was worth and would likely result in the engine burning out fairly quickly. Also, if you increase the engine's displacement the scooter would no longer qualify under the moped limits and you'd need a motorcycle license to drive it.

If you're looking for an upgrade, I'd suggest you get a motorcycle license, then get a small motorcycle or one of the larger scooters.

they sell big bore kits to upgrade cc meant for pockbikes but im sure you could try to make it work with a scooter. 50cc is usually the biggest motor on scooters though. conversion kits cost around 50-80 dollars for a 50cc- 70cc conversion..
here is a website that sell those big bore kits:

this is for a 4 stroke pockebike though, im sure they sell conversion kits for 2-stroke scooters somewhere. but if you upgrade your cc your old carb may not fit your new cylinder head so it may end up costing more money buying new parts than a pocketbike with a bigger engine.

Yep. Go down to Auto Zone and tell them you need a double pack of cc's.There are 12 per pack, Pour a pack in your oil when you get home and the other pack in 100 miles. That will give you an extra 24 cc's.Can't beat that. Good Luck.

Sounds to me like your walking a 2 stroke on immediately gasoline. If it really is a 2 stroke and has computerized oil injection, you high quality make certain the oil degree. damage has ordinarily already been performed.
