A soldered lead may have come loose. It is repairable, but time consuming, especially if you can visibly see which solder point is broken. It may be in your best interest to buy a new pair...
Hope this helps

Arrange a nice funeral and select a beautiful place near the ocean to burry them...
If they were really nice, you can even buy them some flowers...headphones really love flowers...they're so sensitive...
Then go buy yourself a big ice cream (always helps me when I'm sad) and a new pair of headphones!
May they rest in peace....

If it's just a loose connection, then it's possible to solder it back together (try wiggling the wire around to see if you get any sound, even if it's only crackly)
If it's blown, then it's not worth repairing, and you'll need new headphones.

yes first find out if you have a short in the wire or if you headphone jack is loose i. If it's a short wiggle the wire to figure out where the short is. cut the single wire splice it together...if the jack is loose and if you have a solder iron handy...take the gadget a part and solder the bad connection...

It depends, if there is just a loose connection with a wire some where this it might be possible to fix it.

Yes.....if it is at the base of the head phones......where the speakers are it could be that one of the wires got cut.....you will have to open it and check and then sauter it if you can and have the equip..........if not don't waste your time and buy a different pair!!!

Might just be a loose wire. Check it out. They are getting cheaper to buy though.
