Look at Ibanez and Fender, they make a quality, very affordable low-end guitar that really shouldn't be called low-end. If you have a Guitar Center near you thats the place to go and sit down with the two brands I suggested and you be the judge.I'll bet ''dollars to doughnuts'' that you'll be amazed at their playability and the cost. ($150 to $300)

This is going to sound totally predatory, and maybe it is. I bought my WONDERFUL Tachamine guitar at a pawn shop, about 25 years ago, for about $400. It's worth about 3G, and the sound is so clean and the action is so low. You really have to pick up a guitar and play it for a while.

Go to Stan-Roys Music Store on 4th. Street in Santa Rosa.
They have hundreds on walls that you can see, and try out too.

You will get pleasant help.
