IF you actually HAVE a 3.56 GPA and you worked for it... then you should be able to figure out for yourself that it is 89 Percent of a 4.0 GPA

Well, a 4.0 is a 92. It'd be around a 88. By the way, 94 is wrong. :P It's on a FOUR point scale. A 4.0 is a 92, its impossible for that to happen :) By the way, congrats on your high GPA. You'll get into almost any college you want. :)

3.56 divided by four would be 89%
you divid it by four because the highest GPA would be 4.0 so you are trying to figure out what percentage of the highest you can get is what you have. =)
