I was on a ski lift in the summertime in New York _Hunter
Mountain at a festival and we were 3/4 the way up to the top
when it stopped and we sat there and it was quite windy for
at least 20-30 minutes. I couldn't wait to get off of it, I was a
wreck and wanted to walk down once I was ready to come
back down.

Yes, during college we got trapped between floors and the doors opened. This guy went and climbed through the open space to get out. I though he was crazy, I mean what would happen if it started going down while hes squeezing his fat *** through the hole.

Are you referring to either a scissors lift or a snorkel lift?

Yes.... for the one above where i come from it's called a lift also.... you must be American for you it's elevator.

almost, i was on vacation in puerto rico and they were having a storm of the century, and the power went out, but luckily it was on a floor and the doors were open enough for me to get through (i'm claustrophobic and i'm afraid of heights!!)
