I missed the first part of Ellen ! Why is she on Bedrest? HELP!

she has been having back problems for awhile now but this week she really hurt it
she said she jumped off something in a parking area because she thought it was only about a 3 foot drop, but when she landed it hurt, then the next morning she bent down to pick up her dog and felt something tear

Last year she herniated a disc, and now she's torn a ligament around the area. It's not uncommon with the disc problem due to over-compensation. I'm afraid she may have slacked on her training. It's a life-long therapy after such an injury.

Ellen tore some ligaments and was put on bed rest by her doctor so she's doing the show in a hospital bed.

she stepped off a high curb and pulled something and then while bending down to pick up her dog she tore a ligament in her back and was ordered to bed rest by her doctor,she chose to do the show from a bed instead of cancelling
