If you're swinging up, that is commonly caused by dropping your back elbow and back shoulder, which raise your front shoulder and causes an uppercut swing which will produce a lot of pop ups and misses. Try focusing on keeping your front shoulder down, back elbow up and driving straight at the pitcher when you swing.

Open your stance to left or right (depending on which side you bat) and turn your lead foot toe back toward the catcher at a 20 degree angle.
