Atticus Finch was a great man, ask anybody. He was a beloved husband and father. His wife whom he met at the age of fifteen gave him two wonderful children, Jem and Scout. His father Simon finch was a doctor who moved to Maycomb and started "Finch's Landing" but Atticus left and went to law school in Montgomery. He represented the moral ideal of both a lawyer and a human being: he was brutally honest, highly moral, a tireless crusader for good causes, a pacifist and, for the most part, devoid of any of the racial or class prejudices afflicting others. He went to great pains to instruct his children on the importance of being open-minded, judicious, generous neighbors and citizens. He was an expert marksman, but he had chosen to keep that fact hidden from his children so that they would not in any way think of him as a man of violence. He was once the best shot in Maycomb County, but quit shooting because he felt he had an unfair advantage. The heart attack that claimed him robbed the earth of a brilliant man. He will be missed.

Atticus Finch was an awesome dad. He spoke to his children like equals. He didn't flinch when Scout asked him what rape was.
You should read the book. You'll enjoy it. Then you can write your eulogy for Atticus Finch.

haha...i just finished 2 reports on that..lol...heres wat i wrote for my report...
Atticus teaches his children to face the good and evil of the world. Atticus, not caring about a person’s race or religion, willingly helps who ever he can for a good cause. Even when his family, except for Jem and Scout, disagree with him, he defends Tom Robinson, who was accused of raping Mayella Ewell, and tries his level best to get Tom his freedom. Atticus understands why people are who they are, which enables him to control his temper. If Atticus wanted, he could have done anything to Bob Ewell when Bob spit in his face. Atticus did not do anything about it but just stand there because he knew it saved Mayella from a beating.

Atticus was a righteous dude. He defended an innocent man being persecuted, and ultimately killed, because of his race. He also shot a rabid dog, protecting the community from rabies. He was a snazzy dresser too.
