I would try to stop it, I would even kids were not able to carry guns, kids can be so mean, and as someone who has been there, I would try to tell them in a firm way how wrong it is and basically, how would they feel if the tables were turned and they were the one being laughed at

Grr, bullying has been the topic of a few classes I had this week. This topic has never been brought up before so this is interesting.
I'd still try to stop it though, because
1. I'm not a kid! Yay. Which means that I *could* have more power than the kids, even with guns or knives or whatever.
and 2. I'd cry if I left that kid alone.

Depending on the age of the children as to what I would do. Any time I see children fighting or being bullied, regardless of age, I at the very least say something to the effect of telling them to break it up or to leave people alone. I have even gone to the extent of giving the one being bullied a ride home in order to prevent any further problems and then explained to the parents as to what happened and why I gave them a ride home.
If they are young children involved I will physically break it up if need be. If they are teenagers I usually yell at them to cut it out in the presence of an adult out of respect because I do not want to see that and they always do stop.
As far as fears of guns or any other weapons I honestly do not want to get injured or even murdered in this manner but I do believe that when it is my time to go it is my time regardless if it involves trying to help someone out or just walking out my front door.
Do not get me wrong, if guns are already drawn I always run for cover.

Have you visited a high school in the past two years? Because going to one, I havent seen a gun on campus once. The worst bulliying is just minor fights that the teachers break up. Besides, not kid is going to turn a knife at an adult if he isnt already attacking a kid with it, and if thats the case, its no longer bullying, its now assault.

Either way i would stop the kids . . no one should have to be bullied. and no one really carries guns and knives around where i am . . so i wouldn't have to worry about that! but even if i knew they had them i'd still try and stop it

Depends on the age of the kids and what the setting is. Younger than 10 or so yeah, I'd likely step in. Older than that and you risk getting knocked on your butt yourself. If it's a school setting or day camp, or other setting where adult supervision is likely (but not working at that particular moment obviously), get those people involved if possible, and unless the bullying is really viscios, let them handle it without intervening personally.

it depends how old the child is because im pretty sure 6 and 10 yr olds dont carry guns and knives. i would first see why they are fighting and how they are fighting (verbally or physically)

If it was a teenager I wouldnt do anything but I would feel bad for letting it go but you are right... kids could pull a gun or knife out. If it was a younger child then I would tell them it isnt nice to do that.

im 16
and it would all depend on the situation
if a little kid was getting beat up
yeah i'd go and give the bullies a piece of my mind
if it was just words, then i wouldn't do anything
kids gotta stick up for themselves sometimes.
