When you find the right person. This person should be someone you want to be with for the rest of your life, through ups and downs. You should be able to accept all of their faults. Marriage seems so perfect, but it has many surprises. You have to understand that there will be bumps along the road that you (and your partner) will have to deal with. You know when you are ready to get married when you have found someone that you can love so much that you can see past any size argument or frustration.

Nonie, you know when you are ready to get married when you have been with someone long enough that you know each other inside and out. You have no secrets, are madly in love and both can't resist each other. You have to have a healthy relationship going into marriage or it will never work, also it is both your responsibilities to abide by your vows to each other to work out differences instead of quit.

the way to realy tell if your ready, go up to a steap clif with sharp rocks at the bottom stand at the edge and think about jumping off and if that doesnt scare you in the least bit well then your ready for marrage cause the ride is awsom untill you hit rock bottom then your SOL

Answer from a couple married for almost 37 yrs. -
ONLY after the two of you have taken sufficient time to discuss ALL the issues important to BOTH of you.
That means things like (but not limited to) sex, children, money, careers, religion, politics, philosophy, lifestyle, etc.
And ONLY after you've been honest enough with one another to discuss your bad points and weak points.
