I have trouble getting close to orgasm. I'm not sure if it's because the man I was with didn't know how to do it, or how to please me. But is there something wrong with me? What can I do to make myself orgasm more during sex?

Mature answers only please. Yes, I am old enough.

You need to know your body best, first, before you can expect anyone else to know how to hit the right buttons. Relax, explore, and learn about yourself first.

I would try self pleasuring - pop in a porn video or something you find sexy. Use your fingers and lube if necessary and then stroke your cli toris. Try doing a figure of 8, this can really build up the excitement. You might also want to experiment with toys - vibrators etc are great.
Some guys have no idea so you will have to gently show and explain to them. I like my boyfriends to finger and lick me before an intercourse. I always come from this - it makes me really wet and helps me to have another orgasm from penetration.
There are toys you can buy which can be placed on your bf's penis which will stimulate the clitoris. Or he can finger you while he thrusts. Otherwise, keep changing postions - woman on top straddling him is one of my best because you can control everything.
It is all about experimentation - trial and error and mood.
Lastly, if you like other women why not have a lesbian experience as this should really make you feel more at home with your body.

Good luck

Orgasm is a reflex. But it also occurs in the mind and the heart.

What is preventing your mind from experiencing the most supeme joy a woman or man can possibly ever experience? Only you can answer that after you have searched your heart.

There must be something that is causing you doubt or struggle where there ought to be nothing but complete confidence, depth of emotion and trust.

A man's experience is important, however if the problem persists... you may have some underlying problems...either medically or emotionally. Either of which can impede your orgasms.... take some time and evaluate...then you'll know if you need to get help...or a new lover.

i'm old enough too...lol.

most girls dont orgasm through vaginal sex right?, so you will need clitoral stimulation. He can play with your clit, or you can too for forplay. Alot of guys get off to just watching girls do it on their own so dont be embarrassed about it, its sexy! once hes entered you, rub your clit against his penis, circular motions are usually good, or watever feels good to you. you can usually just get it by rubbing then he can thrust in and out and it may prolong your good sesantions. i think the most important part tho is to just have fun and relax. enjoy everything and dont focus too much on omg i need to get an orgasm! just work on it some and soon u'll be getting yours everytime! just my humble advice anyway =P i think also the pillow under the *** trick is hellpull as its easier for the clit to touch the penis.

Well, lots of men don't know how to give orgasm.. They have to touch you in the right spot, which is the clitoris. Sometimes it helps me, if while my man is doing me, I will rub the spot myself. Give it a try, and I bet it will be a huge turnon for your man as well. Hope this helps.

One of the best ways is for you to figure it out yourself, and the way you do that is through masterbation... everyone does it, yes even the ladies.
Once you know how to pleasure yourself, and get yourself to orgasm than you will be better suited to helping your partner to pleasure you.
