Have you tried e-bay or alibris? I've found a number of out-of-print books this way for a decent price -- some in perfect condition, some not. I've done it before and I'd do it again. One word to the wise: watch the shipping charges -- they will eat you up if you let them -- they shouldn't but sometimes they do. If you don't mind a little wait (they say up to 4 weeks, but my experience is usually a week) ask them to send them media mail or, if a paper back first class (you can ship anything up to a lb. first class). Some sellers will ship an unlimited amount of books for the same price which is exorbitant for 1 book but very reasonable for 10 books, and if that is the case, browse to see what other books you might like.

Go to a book store like Borders or whatever the book store chain is in your area. Ask if they have the book and if they don't see if they can order it for you.
Good luck.

Your public library may have it, and if not, they can get it for you through an interlibrary loan.
