I knew 3 of my grandparents. One had passed before I was born.

I still have one grandmother, my mom's mom, she's 94, and I know her pretty well but don't get to see her often. My mom's dad died in 2000, so I also knew him pretty well. On my dad's side, his mom died long before I was born, in fact Dad was only 4, so he doesn't really remember her. Dad's dad died when I was 3 and I don't really remember him.
It's funny I saw this question today because I was just thinking about that subject today! I recently got a bunch of stuff that belonged to my aunt and it included a letter from Grandma Rhea to Grandpa Roscoe, written in 1934, a year before Rhea died. It made me cry because it was almost like I finally got to "meet" Grandma after all these years, because I learned some things about her from that letter, like how much she loved her husband. It was very sweet.

I only knew my granparents on my father's side well. And I only really knew my grandmother from my father's side the best. Anyway they're all dead.
