No, most European countries and the UK tax gas/petrol at around 100%. Bush wants control of a Middle East country to control OPEC and keep prices fixed down that's what people are dying for in reality; the terrorists who pulled off 9/11 were Saudis.

Most of the higher cost of gas in Europe goes towards taxes that help their extensive social programs. Much of the base cost goes toward oil company profits.

Probably a little. You can make a profit too. Buy up some stock in oil companies. Of course, you will see that there is very little profit. Oil companies do not make monster profits. They don't perform better than most other companies if you look at it on a return on investment basis.

I dunno. Do you think he's making a profit off the $250 Ipods, $600 Sony Playstation III's, or the $270 for Window's Vista??? All of these have tripple digit profit margins, but nobody seems to be complaining about that.
