I was a soldier for 23 years. It was the most rewarding time of my life. I literally got to see the world. Just wish I could go back and do it all over again.

Jobs done well are always most rewarding in a "holistic sense," and it's, therefore, NOT just about the paycheck, for sure...Make no mistake, there!

I'm not doing my job for the paycheck! It is rarely rewarding, but sometimes is. I'm a teacher and I find it really tough.

I have two jobs. The day job is not rewarding. It is hard to keep smiling when people find so much wrong with the units they own. It is hard to not get down about your job, when you would not stay where you work because it is not clean.(I work in the hotel/timeshare industry) My second job is for a privately owned hotel and I love it. It is clean, and people do not fuss. Also, I am not sexually harrassed at job two.

Without a doubt. When I pull back into the loading area after one of my tours, and I get a round of applause, and a bunch of tips, that is a great reward.

I work in the emergency room, so yes absolutely, I get to help people daily, and that gives me a great deal of satisfaction.
